To increase damping: Use the

tool from the on-board kit to

turn the adjusting screw in the

appropriate direction so that

mark 2 points to a higher read-

ing on the scale.

To reduce damping: Use the

tool from the on-board kit to

turn the adjusting screw in the

mark 2 points to a lower read-

ing on the scale.

Rebound stage, basic

setting, front

Position 2 (comfortable set-

ting with rider 85 kg)

Position 5 (normal setting

with rider 85 kg)

Position 8 (sports setting

with rider 85 kg)

Adjusting compression-

stage damping for rear

wheel

Make sure the ground is level

and firm and place the motor-

cycle on its stand.

Adjust compression-stage

damping for long bump

travel (low speed) by turning

adjusting screw 1 and adjust

compression-stage damping for

short bump travel (high speed)

by turning adjusting ring 2.
